Celine Dion will be receiving the ICON Award at this year’s Billboard Music Awards, and instead of celebrating with a performance of one of her own songs, she will sing Queen’s “The Show Must Go On.”
“Celine Dion has a huge repertoire of monster hits and she personally chose to perform ‘The Show Must Go On’ as her ICON performance on the Billboard Music Awards,” Billboard Music Awards executive producer Mark Bracco says in a statement. “I think at this moment in her life, the song has many meanings and it’s an amazing choice.”
Billboard launched the ICON Award in 2011. The list of previous recipients includes Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, Prince, and Jennifer Lopez.
The Billboard Music Awards air May 22nd at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
