The actor’s recent interview with Vanity Fair is his most explosive interview in a while, but not because he shares any intimate family details or reveals his next big movie role. Instead, Smith shows off his creativity by sharing some rather odd facts about the universe.
In the almost-three-minute clip with Vanity Fair, Smith goes into detail about human skin and its ability to replace itself 900 times during an average lifespan, how we have more nerve connections in our brains than there are stars in the galaxy and how, at one point, he was the youngest person in existence.
“On Saturn and Jupiter, it rains diamonds. How?” he reveals. “Sharks have been around for longer than trees…” he shares, seemingly shaken by the revelation. “That one is hard to believe. But it’s actually true.”
“For every human on Earth, there are roughly 1.6 million ants… My whole life has been a lie,” he tells in amazement.
