We are off to an insane start as we head into another week of #BB19! The official “Summer of Temptation” has also turned into the unofficial summer of backstabbing, broken bones and unexpected twists…
[RECAP] After Cameron was sent packing the game continued to heat up. A major alliance formed consisting of the three showmances plus Christmas, Paul and Dominique. Their plan was to vote out one of the “outsiders” and keep the power within their alliance and with Cody as HOH that seemed like a simple task.
Cody had a pretty horrible week as wrenches kept being thrown into his plans. When Cody had to choose somebody else to go up on the block next to Jillian, he decided to nominate Alex because of her strength as a competitor and the respect he had for her as a player in the game. His
insanely jealous BB girlfriend, Jessica, has an issue with his respect for Alex and calls it “nauseating”.
Cody felt bad for nominating Alex and at the end of the veto competition he appeared to throw the competition which his alliance definitely noticed. When Alex won the veto competition she took herself off the block and Cody was forced to nominate a new house guest.
Cody’s secret plan was to put Paul up on the block next to Jillian to replace Alex. Little did he know that Paul was safe from eviction because of his decision to accept the tempting “Pendant of Protection” in the Den of Temptation which rendered him safe from being nominated. At the round table Cody decided to unveil his sneaky secret and put Paul up on the block. To everyones surprise, Paul disclosed his Pendant of Protection. In a moment of seeming panic Cody turned to Christmas and said, “Christmas. You got screwed. Take a seat.”
Christmas was NOT impressed and herself and most of the house turned to Cody like this…
The house guests made their way to Julie one-by-one to cast their votes to evict. With a whopping 8-4 votes, Jillian Parker was evicted from the Big Brother House and to say she was shocked is an understatement…
We got to ask the newest evictee, Jillian, a few questions about the season so far:
1. Do you think that you were underestimated as a player in the game?
No I don’t think that I’m underestimated as a player in the game. I don’t think that I got a big opportunity to play and to show my strengths in the competitions. The one I was on Josh’s team who took the golden apple so I couldn’t do anything about that. I feel like I didn’t get enough chances to show in the competition that I can conquer. Social wise, I felt like I did a good job – I didn’t go around being a rat, or making a 10 person alliance, or whatever that was – I had a core group of people that I could talk to, so I think I did okay.
2. Who was your least favourite player in the house?
My least favourite player is Paul.
3. Why do you think they voted you out over Christmas, who is considered a physical threat in the game?
I think they kept Christmas because she broke her leg and now she’s not a threat, she can’t do the challenges. Plus I think they bribed my vote and said that they would get rid of Cody and Jessica if they let Christmas stay so they wouldn’t have to do it.
4. Who do you think will go far in the game and why?
Probably Dominique because she’s a great speaker, she’s good with words, she’s not on people’s radar. She has a nice way about her. I think she’s going to go really far.
If it’s already this good, we can’t what to see what the rest of the summer has in store! Catch Big Brother Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights on Global.
