Three years after releasing 1989, Taylor Swift has confirmed her new album, Reputation, will be released on Nov. 10.
After the long wait and numerous snake-related teasers on social media, Swift revealed the cover for her sixth album on Instagram on Wednesday.
Fans won’t have to wait that long to hear new music from the pop star: her first single drops Thursday, Aug. 24.
After Swift announced the confirmation of new music, fans took to Twitter with excitement.

On Monday morning, Swift shared a mysterious 10-second video on her social media accounts, which was her first post since she deleted all of her posts on her social media accounts on Friday.
The silent clip appeared to show a snake tail. The singer presented the footage without any caption.

A second, longer clip with another piece of the snake tail, was posted early Tuesday.

The announcement comes after Swift’s recent court case, in which she countersued a Denver DJ who attempted to sue her for $3 million on the grounds that she ruined his career with allegations that he groped her. The jury ruled in her favour.
