If you’re a listener of The Ongoing History of New Music, you might find yourself wishing to access past shows that you have missed or want to hear again. This past long weekend was a perfect example. Here’s how you can get caught up and/or take a deep dive into the archives.
Once an episode runs on the weekend, technical producer Rob Johnston transmutes the show in a podcast. It’s then made available for download after midnight ET on Wednesday. Rob is also working on posting bonus episodes, which means a program from the archives. They get posted just after midnight on Friday. So that’s two Ongoing History podcasts available for free download every week.
At this point, there are about 40 episodes available with more coming. Get yours at iTunes, inside catch-up section of the Radio Player Canada app or wherever you get your on-demand audio.
Here’s a link to the podcast that went up yesterday. You can also link to iTunes from there.
